A damaged headlight not only leaves you in the dark it can mean over $500 in replacement costs from Yamaha. Protect your Yamaha Tenere 700 headlight with the AltRider Clear Headlight Guard and avoid a costly mishap.
Constructed in the United States from 3/16 inch (4.7 mm) thick scratch-resistant polycarbonate the AltRider headlight guard lenses are constructed from impact resistant polycarbonate -- the same material as bullet proof windows. This polycarbonate is formulated with a hardened scratch resistant surface both front and rear. Dual lenses are secured with 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cut textured powder coat steel brackets and frame that are extremely resistant to rust or weathering.
The headlight guard mounts to four factory hard points by way of two 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cut steel mounting brackets and using custom machined aluminum ball studs and rubber sockets to mount the lens to the frame. The no-tools quick release system allows for easy removal of the face for cleaning. The textured powder coat steel construction is extremely resistant to rust or weathering.
