Protective sleeve for yoke in fairing left for BMW R2V RS und RT models. Fork Boot in Fairing, LeftOriginal manufacturer quality fork boot for the RS or RT. These boots are often times torn and look shabby.
TIP: If replacing a worn out or broken boot, remove all traces of the old boot from the fairing as best you can, using a razor, utility knife or whatever means needed. Install the boot and get the lip of the fairing opening properly pushed inside the boot, all the way around. When you are happy with the general fitment, permanently attach the boot to the fairing using super glue or similar brand as follows: from the top, gently peel back the rear facing edge and put a few drops in and immediately reposition. Let that set for a few minutes before moving on and of course wipe off any excess immediately. It`s not necessary to glue it all the way around! If you place a few drops of Super Glue at 6 points on each boot, that should be enough and it will
