The cockpit cover 2 covers the R1200GS's tachometer unit.In addition, it features two integral, fused sockets. For example, mobile phones or GPS units can thus be pluggedinto the cockpit directly without having to run annoying cables around the motorbike.Because of the fused direct connection, these units can be charged even when ignition is off. Normally this causesproblems with the R1200GS. This black cover is made from powder-coated aluminium and includes stainless steelmounts.It fits perfectly. The unit can be fitted alone or in conjunction with the cockpit cover 1 (Item number 044-0552).
