The headlight cladding in carbon for the BMW R NineT replaces the original component using the original attachment points.
Most prominent are the weight savings (as a rule, a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity.
The cover behind the R NineT Racer headlight is mounted separately and covers the rear of the headlight towards the rider. The carbon components thus always improves the look of the area behind the cockpit for the rider. But also seen from the side it covers the gap for the technically required gap for the steering between the cockpit and headlight very well.
Ilmberger uses pre-impregnated carbon fibre matrices for the high-quality carbon.
